It is officially the Holiday season. Where did 2017 go? I hope that you all had a wonderful summer and fall! I hope this letter finds you enjoying cooler days and the beautiful scen-ery of Autumn in Nebraska.
First, I would like to thank you for your vote of confidence by electing me to represent you as Auxiliary President. This is a wonderful organization, and I feel quite honored to be chosen as your leader. As with any change in leadership, there comes a transitional period and I want to thank the Auxiliary Board for their flexibility as we all assume our new roles. We again have recruited a wonderful group of volunteers to serve on the board, and I look forward to working with them for the next two years.
So far the year has gone b
y quickly as it is hard to believe that we are coming up on our Star of Lights Campaign along with the Holiday Fare. I can’t believe that we will soon be sitting around a table with family and friends giving thanks for our many blessings. Please feel free to give me a call or send me a message if you have any questions or would like to help out with an event. We are always looking for volunteers for the many events that we help out with year round.
As always, we welcome new members and would love to help find a place where you are comfortable volunteering. Thank you all so much for your continued dedication to the York General Auxiliary. Have a blessed Holiday season!
